Content, it’s the lifeblood of our brands and we need a Senior Producer who can create awesome content for MTV and Comedy Central Australia and New Zealand on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing brand and commercial productions for MTV and Comedy Central Australia and New Zealand channels as assigned by the Creative Services Director. In addition, you will be responsible for pitching ideas, writing treatments and creating compelling content for a variety of brands. You will have both a deep understanding of our brands, pop culture and current influencers and also an intimate knowledge of all things video across every social media platform including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat.
  
You are a production whiz and thrive on creating entertaining and engaging video content that appeals to our audience.

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

• Production of content in accordance with overall content strategy
• Proactive development of new digital show formats that will drive views and result in commercial revenue
• Delivery of locally produced content for multi-platform distribution
• Brainstorm with internal team to produce quality output
• Strict maintenance of all content reporting requirements and ensure records of materials/ordering etc. are all kept up to date and used by editing staff 
• Ensure compliance with appropriate policies on all external copy and assets
• Content management via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and other designated methods

If you are the chosen one, you will have:

• 7+ years of production experience
• Thorough knowledge of production, digital content and online initiatives
• Experience of self-shooting camera operator
• Knowledge of camera lighting for filming
• Knowledge of sound recording on location/studio
• Editing using editing software – Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience using After Effects or Motion- preferred
• Encoding and Web Design, HTML and PHP experience
• Proven ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of social media and communication
• Ability to out new ideas into practice quickly and effectively
• Good project management skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills
