About The Role
This leadership position is responsible for generating sales and managing clients advertising expectations from inception to completion. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic end-to-end advertising strategy for our clients which need to meet or exceed budgeted levels of revenue and manage and control all required activities related to the purpose.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating the world of tomorrow and is resourceful and forward-thinking. Candidates must have demonstrated and directly relevant experience growing and optimising customer acquisition channels across digital and traditional channels.
This management position requires a mix of visionary and strategic thinking with a tenacious cross-functional top performer mentality to deliver on clients’ requirements. It also requires a thorough understanding of data analytics and using data to derive target audience insights.
.As Advertising Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Looking after and growing existing client accounts related to advertising and audience acquisition scope
- Attracting and developing new accounts
- Building relationships through meaningful conversations, finding the right solutions for clients
- Creating and giving engaging face-to-face presentations to marketing managers and business owners
- Scoping and implementing new strategies across media channels to drive client audience acquisition, awareness, and revenue
- Identifying resource gaps and needs and build a team to help support our data driven advertising initiatives
- Partnering with key stakeholders of media buying channels to ensure correct targeting of high value prospects across advertising channels, paid, earned, and owned
- Seeking out creative channels, resources, and partnerships to grow client awareness and expanding scope of work
- Continually monitoring and tracking data analytics to optimise and prioritise optimal revenue growth opportunities
About You
You will have:
- A Bachelors or Masters in a related field (advertising / marketing / business) with a minimum of 10 years equivalent work experience in advertising, customer acquisition, digital media buying and scaling marketing strategies
- Familiarity with enterprise technology brands, B2B buyer journeys, and the demand funnel
- Strong knowledge of media marketing channels (digital, mass media, offline) as well as traditional marketing channels included but not limited to advertising, paid media, public relations, influencer marketing, grassroots efforts, etc.
- Proven ability to manage and execute on multiple projects effectively within deadlines and manage time and priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
