Our client is seeking a Data & Analytics Program Manager to over see a number of strategic initiatives which feed into the 2020 strategy for the organisation. They include the scaling of a data warehouse, new ways of reporting, including BI and analytics. Implementing new technologies and innovation as well as educating the business on better more effective ways to use their data.
In this role you will have 6 direct reports daily with 15 people in total within the program. We are looking for candidates who have had some exposure to the insurance industry. Someone who is senior enough not to get into the detail but technical enough to understand the detail. You should also be happy working in a much more traditional environment but one that is changing and open to change over time. Very strong stakeholder management skills is required to succeed and an ability to effect change.
Initial 9 month contract with potential to keep on extending for the next 3 years.
Required Skills:
- 10 + years within project management
- Extensive experience in Data and Analytics, BI and Data Warehousing
- Experience within the Insurance industry
- Experience taking a traditional environment into a more dynamic and modern way of working
- Good agile skills
- People management skills
- Great comms and stakeholder management experience
- An active interest in the lastest tools such as Big Data, NoSQL DB's and Neo4J
