We are a fast growing marketing & sales digital agency specialising in strategy, Salesforce.com technology (Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud ++) and marketing execution.

We are looking for the right person to join our business in the role of CIO.  

You will be responsible for the management of our ICT systems, architecture and compliance obligations.  You will lead our own internal projects and guide some of our clients.

The right person will be responsible for:

• Ongoing review and enhancement of all ICT systems

• Analyse existing technical architecture (for Destined and clients) and plan out best practice solutions.

• Ongoing review and enhancement of project management methodology

• Oversee the delivery aspect of all of our IT  projects (Internal and External)

• Compliance - Take on role of Data Officer ensuring correct protection of all of our data and that of our clients and legal obligations

• Responsibility for security of our systems

• Identify ways to deliver more value to clients more efficiently

• Explore new product opportunities within the salesforce ecosystem and potential GTM (Go To Market) strategy

Key tasks will include:

• managing staff and projects

• contribute to the leadership and direction of the business

• analysing information needs and specifying technology to meet those needs

• formulating and directing information and communication technology (ICT) strategies, policies and plans

• negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers for installing new technology and training employees on its use

• directing the selection and installation of ICT resources and the provision of user training

• directing ICT operations and setting priorities between system developments, maintenance and operations

• overseeing the security of ICT systems

This role has responsibility across our offices both in Australia and in Pakistan.    The role is also central to our plans to expand globally and offer services on the ground in other countries.  The right person must have a global network as well as the deep CIO skills required.

In addition to this the ideal person will have a cultural awareness and ability to effectively work with our Karachi office and Australian offices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Information Technology or related field required

• Project Management Qualification / training ideal

• Ability to speak Urdu

• Ability to manage large projects

• Ability to provide strategic advice

• Excellent skills in computing /  software development

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Negotiation skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in information technology and resource management
