• Technical support for Windows desktops and servers
• 3 year contract
• Melbourne - CBD

This role provides technical support and infrastructure services for Windows desktops, servers, and associated services. You will also be responsible for SOE and OS development, including deployment and integration of SOE, applications to desktops and servers, as well as electronic file management systems, printing, web access, infrastructure and data security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development, deployment, and continuous improvement to the Windows desktop SOE services and the applications they host, including packaging
• Administer and monitor all personal devices, including PCs, laptops, and their applications
• Provide third level service request, incident and problem management services in accordance with agreed service levels.
• Undertake project coordination activities for technology upgrades and updates to servers and desktops.
• Ensure the Configuration Management Database and procedures and support documentation are updated to the standard required
• Document all build and security baselines, and comply with these baselines for all deployment and improvement activities.

To be successful in this role you must have the below skillset:

• Extensive knowledge and experience managing Windows desktop and laptop environments, including the deployment of Windows SOEs and patches.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of application deployment and management technologies such as SCCM and GPO including packaging, testing, and customisation
• Effective communication skills
• Industry certification in Windows and ITILv3
