Role Summary
A pivotal role within our Information Security team, where you will take ownership of key monitoring and governance activities. The Security Operations Analyst position is assigned to the Security Operations team reporting into the Senior Manager of Security Operations. The primary purpose of this position is to help coordinate and report on incidents impacting Tabcorp. This position involves critical duties and responsibilities that must continue to be performed during crisis situations and contingency operations, which may necessitate extended hours of work. This is a hands-on role with the ability to shape a new operational and oversight capability.
How you will contribute
You will be involved in, however not limited to;
- Perform monitoring of privileged access to key infrastructure and applications
- Perform vulnerability and PCI scans and provide reports
- Co-ordinate penetration testing with external vendors
- Assist with the updating security metrics
- Action requests within Tabcentral queue that are assigned to the Security team
- Perform daily BAU operational tasks
- Action audit items applicable to security operations
- On call roster 24x7 – rotational basis
Our Ideal Person
You’ll have a great background in security operations, with demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Tertiary qualification in IT, Business or related disciple, along with industry recognised security accreditation or certification, will be highly regarded. Importantly, your ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the business and technology staff will see you succeed in this role.
