We are looking for a Senior Security Consultant to work for our client, a cyber solutions and threat intelligence consultancy based in North Ryde. We are lookin gat both contract and permanent people. 

This company specialise in security & compliance through their experienced teams covering Security Assurance, Managed Security Services and Governance Risk and Compliance to an impressive client list. 

As the Senior Security Consultant you will join the Governance, Risk & Compliance team. Reporting to the Group Manager, your role will be predominantly client-facing and will be based heavily around auditing and consulting duties.

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects within the information security landscape, across multiple lines of business. You will be responsible for articulating technical and information security concepts to business and technical users through demonstration, implementation and training.

To be considered for this role you should have;

• Tertiary Qualifications or relevant experience
• 5 years plus experience in a comparable role and industry
• Certification to perform audits and lead ISMS implementation projects;
• Own or demonstrate study towards security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, IRAP, CRISC, PCI QSA, ISO27001 Lead Implementer;
• Strong knowledge, skills and experience in ISO27000 series, Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301), and PCI-DSS;
• Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to connect with and build relationships across all levels of an organisation
• Ability to work as part of a highly skilled and experienced team
• Ability to work autonomously
