Our client is one Queensland's most secure environments, this department provides the public with access to a range of services. The role is within their Information technology department and specifically provides operational support services to cybersecurity infrastructure on the daily basis. 
 
This is a pure business as usual support role, in which you provide Checkpoint firewall administration and support, troubleshoot a range of network in internetworking related issues and control email gateways.
 
Our client is looking for a highly skilled cyber security specialist to work within the departments Cyber Security Team. 
 
The Cyber Security Team is responsible for the operational management of the department's information security infrastructure.
 
We are looking for a high level of Checkpoint firewall knowledge and experience, combined with highly developed TCP/IP networking skills and knowledge. Network switches and routers have no secrets to you.

Anything Information Technology and Cyber Security are second nature to you.

To be successful in this role highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills and a sense of self management are essential.

If you have Bluecoat, Splunk and scanning experience (Rapid 7) and Clearswift email gateway experience you'll be the perfect candidate, but we're happy if you only some of this experience or skills.
