Junior Microsoft developer/support analyst role to support and resolve application issues in production as well as partaking in development\enhancement of new\existing functionalities
(The junior Microsoft developer/support analyst role will initially be 80% support and 20% development.
Responsibilities
• As support analyst, he/she is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for the various system users and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
• He or she will also be accountable for performing daily tasks required for the ongoing functionality of software applications.
• Some programming and debugging duties will be required to develop queries/reports of varying complexity and to troubleshoot and fix programmatic issues.
• As junior developer, he or she will be assigned with development tasks, which requires engaging with business analysts and technical teams to quickly build new functionality
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Greater than 2 years' experience in a developer/analyst programmer role using Microsoft specific technologies
• Communicate and provide knowledge transfer to other team members on issues/problems and resolution.
• Work with other support groups in assisting in resolution of incidents
• Design, develop, test, deploy new\existing functionalities using .Net technologies in accordance with functional specifications.
• Review product features and estimate effort required to complete maintenance or development tasks.
• Develop code to deliver business outcomes.
• Contribute to preparation of business solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
