Looking for a Technical Team Lead with background in Java Software development to lead a team in a large multinational organisation.

- Permanent role

With a background in Software Engineering, the ideal candidate has extensive experience in Java, highly scalable architecture, continuous delivery and automated testing as well as experience in leading a team of Java developers.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Project delivery across a number of applications with competing priorities
- Leading a number of Software Developers working on different applications, provide mentoring and technical advice
- Lead ideas, build trust and increase collaboration and communication between teams
- Incident and problem management
- Bridge enterprise, solution and software architecture
- Actively contribute to the strategic direction of application architecture
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge and experience in software development solutions, project delivery, stakeholder management and people management
- Experience with agile methodology
- Experience in Enterprise software architecture and enterprise environment
- Experience as a software engineer using Java, J2EE and understanding of relevant tools and technologies such as Spring Boot, Jboss, Intelij, Microservices Architecture
- AWS, Cloud, SOA CI/CD patterns and practices
- Agile methodology using Jira and Confluence
- Ability to break down tasks, estimate and prioritise tasks and plan based on deliverables
