Cognizant is hiring SQL Server DBA position in Melbourne. 

Responsibilities: 

• 10-12 years of intense hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 database experience.
• Knowledge on MSSQL replication, configuration and management. Exposure to SSIS and SSRS.
• Deep understanding of application stack preferred, experience in writing Stored Procedures etc.
• Create, configure, and maintain security as required for individuals and applications
• Experience in performing database tuning and performance monitoring and resolution
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills with bias for action
• When a performance issue is detected, determine the most effective way to increase performance, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.
• Extensive experience with production database configuration, planning, testing, implementation, issues resolution and ability to tune complex queries. 
• Working experience on any of the COTS products like OneSumX (WKFS) is preferred.
