My client is a Leading National ICT Professional Services, Managed Services and Cloud Solutions Provider in Australia.

We are recruiting for a Senior Aruba Consulting Engineer

The role is to deliver technical ARUBA Solutions.

This is a customer focused role and you need to be able to work autonomously and "own" the engagement – not rely on others to help and assist.

You will need demonstrated experience delivering and performing this role within another Systems Integrator in a Professional Services Capacity. Without this specific experience you will not be considered for the role.

From a Technology Capability you will to be expert in the following:

  • Clearpass – Policy Manager, Guest Captive Design Portal
  • Airwave
  • Wireless - Aruba Controller Based/ Aruba Instant
  • Networking - Aruba/HPE Switching/Routing

WIRELESS NETWORK DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION:

  • Performing 802.11 wireless site surveys and creating predictive/coverage heatmaps using Wi-Fi site surveying software (Airmagnet/Ekahau).
  • Designing and implementing multi-controller wireless network solutions (Aruba/Cisco).
  • Prior experience of working with Aruba instant/Cisco mobility express based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience across different network types including 802.1x based corporate networks, captive portal based guest solutions and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) networks.

ARUBA CLEARPASS POLICY MANAGER:

  • Thorough understanding of Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager design principles including:
    • ClearPass clustering and role of publisher/subscriber in the network
    • Pre and post 6.7 licensing in ClearPass
    • Data and management interfaces
    • Different firewall policies requirements for ClearPass integration with different network segments
  • Integrating ClearPass Policy Manager with different authentication sources like Active directory, Azure AD/Office 365, SQL databases,
  • RADIUS and HTTPS certificates requirements for ClearPass.
  • Configuring different guest workflows including self-registration, sponsor approval and mac caching.
  • Configuring onboard module to support BYOD networks.
  • Integrating ClearPass Policy Manager Server with external services like SMTP servers, SMS gateways, Palo Also Networks firewalls.
  • Integrating ClearPass Policy Manager Server with different MDM solutions.
  • ClearPass integration with different vendor switches to support wired 802.1x & TACACS authentication.

ARUBA AIRWAVE:

  • Using Airwave to manage network device using configuration template and zero touch provisioning.
  • Using Airwave as a monitoring platform to monitor network devices.
  • Configuring network alerts in Airwave to notify about events of interest.
  • Generating on demand reports and configuring scheduled reports.
