Our client is a leading Australian company which takes great pride in providing innovative solutions and high quality service to their clients. A fantastic opportunity for an Information Technology Network Engineer has arisen to join their friendly Melbourne team on a temporary contract basis. This role will be responsible for assisting with special projects, providing high quality support to their information technology division, maintaining system infrastructure, trouble shooting, assisting with customer enquiries, and providing solutions in a timely and effective manner.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Strong Networking Experience, Routing, Switching, Firewall, VOIP, Wireless
- Programming: LUA, C, XML, Web & Mobile development
- LAN & WAN
- Multicast & Unicast
- Layer 3 Switch & Router Configuration
- Audio over IP
- Excellent Trouble Shooting/Problem Solving skills
- Strong Technical Knowledge & Customer Service Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with PA systems & Emergency Warning systems highly regarded
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Availability to work between 16 hours and 38 per week
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology desirable
