You have a love for everything tech and your passion shines in your work. Day to day you will be helping to build awesome applications for our users and we want you to love what you do! This role will mean you are helping to decrease the time from idea to deployment, so you need to know how to think outside the box and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
You can be confident with your own technical decisions but also love working as part of a small team and bouncing ideas off other 'Domazing' brains. This role sits in the New Ventures team which means you will be team joining three other great engineers.
Technical skills we would love you to have:
- Minimum three years experience working with JavaScript.
- Solid professional experience with React and Node.js.
- Preferably have experience working with Relay and GraphQL.
- Experience working with AWS, docker and CI/CD best practices.
- A sound understanding of programming fundamentals and algorithms.
- Bonus - experience with Python or Golang

This role is based in our Sydney office and although this role sits within the New Ventures (a team of 4 engineers) you will also be part of the much bigger tech team that are located at Sydney HQ! The tech team here at Domain creates a great learning environment and encourages you to continue to improve and develop on your current skill set. We hold innovation weeks to get the creative mind flowing and to encourage cross team collaboration.
The Sydney offices are located in Pyrmont, right on the doorstep of Darling Harbour. The offices themselves can also become your home away from home with their own onsite gym and yoga studio. As well as a 5th floor balcony with BBQ area which we like to use for company events when the sun is shining!
