Information Technology & Digital Services (ITD Services) is a key enabling service provider within the University. It is responsible for the strategic deployment and use of information and communication technology services, systems and infrastructure. The primary role of ITD Services is to support the University’s learning, teaching and research activities as well as the business systems and operational units that underpin the University’s core activities. 

These positions will be key roles for the University, providing technical expertise and leadership in the implementation and optimisation of new or changed IT infrastructure. You will be required to provide technical management insights, guidance and direction to projects and contribute subject matter expertise related to systems and processes as required. You will have extensive demonstrated effective leadership in providing information technology services in a large and complex organisation. With excellent interpersonal, communication (oral, written, listening and presentation), teamwork and customer service skills, you will have a demonstrated record of willingness to develop and implement customer-focused solutions. You will also be an excellent collaborator with demonstrated experience in negotiating strategic outcomes with senior colleagues and other teams where the outcome impact on areas outside their own formal area of authority. You will be able to work with a considerable degree of autonomy, and will also have sound practical knowledge of relevant best practice frameworks including project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2) and IT Service Management (ITIL V3). With a high degree of subject matter expertise in Infrastructure Technology engineering you will also have specific expertise in at least two or more of the following: server/storage systems administration; corporate application/database hosting; systems security; data networking; network printing; end user/desktop computing; capacity and availability management etc. 

For further information please refer to the Position Description. This is a full-time, fixed-term position located at the Hawkesbury Campus; Richmond NSW though travel to/from other Western Sydney campuses may be required. 

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $123,468 to $131,853 p.a., (comprising Salary $111,391 to $118,956 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
