About the role – Project Engineer – Heatherton VIC

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Project Engineer’s principal responsibility is overseeing day to day operations of the Chargepoint survey, design and construction activities, whilst ensuring our contractual deliverables and compliance are consistently met.

Specifically, the Project Engineer’s responsibilities will include:

• Creation of project management plans and associated documentation including process flow charts and SHEWMs
• Negotiating and establishing contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Monthly financial reporting, in addition to reporting on performance, quality, safety and compliance
• Provide technical guidance to the NOC and customers as necessary

About you

• Your background in a Telecommunications environment will give you the right technical exposure to quickly understand the projects requirements.
• You will have previous experience in in the management of sub-contractors, coupled with a sound understanding of financial and project management data manipulation.
• Your practical experience will be ideally underpinned by a tertiary qualification in Engineering or a similar discipline.
• You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to effectively negotiate and build key working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
