We currently have a new opportunity for an Anaplan Model Builder to join our Group Advisory and Solutions division on a 12-month fixed term contract basis at our Sydney head office.

Reporting to the General Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics this role Involves building, developing and supporting the Anaplan environment at Mirvac, providing guidance to the business to build best practice budgeting and forecasting models. Expectations are to deliver agreed projects within the strategic vision on time, to budget and achieving agreed outcomes, while also portraying a high degree of professionalism in all interactions with internal customers, peers and vendors.

Other duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop an understanding of the current business processes pertaining to Corporate Performance Management (Planning, Forecasting, and Analysing)
  
• Maintain existing Anaplan models; providing support and guidance to the business for continued improvement
  
• Assist with the development and maintenance of a roadmap to progress the journey towards a single platform for Corporate Performance Management within Anaplan.
  
• Participate in future Anaplan projects
  
• Work to the development schedule as provided by the Reporting Manager
  
• Maintain model user guides to ensure consistent application of business processes
  
• Facilitate training sessions for new starters and refresher sessions as needed, in collaboration with business Anaplan SMEs
  
• Facilitate and chair an Anaplan user group to ensure best use of the application and streamlined processes
  
• Work alongside the Business Intelligence operations team to provide the necessary information to fulfil business reporting needs
  
• Work with outsourced / offshore service providers delivering application support and improvement activities
  

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be able to demonstrate:

• Strong background in Accounting and Finance
  
• 7+ years of financial modelling
  
• 3+ years of Anaplan Finance and dashboard modelling
  
• Anaplan Foundations (101), Intermediate Modelling (201) and Anaplan Way Certifications
  
• Exposure developing Anaplan models in the Real Estate Industry across property development and property management for; Residential, Retail, Office and Industrial.
  
• Exposure to the Real Estate Industry for the development / maintenance of required models (Property Development, retail, Office and Industrial)
  
• Attention to detail regarding quality / robust model building based on best practices
  
• Planning and organisational skills to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, communicate and interact positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management
