The Client
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Database Developer who has excellent business and data analysis skills. This position is based in Sydney.

The Role
Your role will require you to be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, managing and administering Equifax’s database management systems (MS SQL Server and Hadoop). By manipulating large sets of data, the Database Developer will determine data quality and recommend data improvements.

To be successful you must have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive MS SQL Server skills, e.g. Complex T-SQL, Stored Procedure - 5+ years
• Database design and modelling - 3+ years
• Superior data analysis skills and experience - 3+ years
• MS BI Stack experience, e.g. SSIS – 3+ years
• Problem-solving ability
• Drive to get to the bottom of issues
• Commercial experience
• ETL Experience - 3+ years
• Experience in dealing with very large datasets.
• Communication Skills – strong written and verbal, with the ability to adjust communication style according to needs/knowledge of others
• Excellent time management skills
