Our Client is currently looking for an energetic and driven Desktop Support Rollout Engineer to assist with the rollout.
This is primarily a floor walking role, you will need to be confident customer facing and eager to communicate and interact with people all the time.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Desktop Support Rollout Engineer will assist the IT team in the project along with BAU support, resbonsibilites will include:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware faults on PC's desktop & laptops
- Must be able to be able to self-diagnose monitor issues/configuration
- Support of Windows operating systems
- Imaging and reimaging of desktops and laptops
- Maintenance of user accounts in Active Directory
- Assist end user support services (Desktop / Laptop hardware; Mobile Smart phones; IP/VoIP telephone; Printer and other peripheral hardware).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrable experience in a number of desktop rollout projects.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and Microsoft and ITIL Foundation certifications would be an advantage.
In addition to your technical skills the role requires you to be well presented with excellent communication skills and ability to deal with different levels of IT users and stakeholders.
