Green Light are looking for a Teradata Reporting Analyst. The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for building reports, KPIs, and dashboards within the department.


This position will also be responsible for building a data architecture which will enable the team to design and build reports as well as prepare ad-hoc analysis in an efficient manner. Additionally, this role will be involved in preparing and delivering in-depth analysis of various topics with the intent of providing useful actionable information to executive leadership.


Responsibilities:-

• Working with key stakeholders across the business to gather and translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications.
• Develop and deliver a series of Tableau dashboards, reports and scorecards  from business requirements to satisfy the business need.
• Understand and query disparate data sources, including models, source systems and reporting views to support BI product development.
• Build tools and reports to help department analysts keep a pulse on their business and alert them to violations of trends
• Prepare, produce, and validate daily, weekly, and monthly reports specifically to measure, monitor, and alert the business in cases of unforeseen spikes, dips, trend changes
• Identify potential opportunities for process improvement and report automation using various methods, i.e. SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, external data sources, IT development, and execute changes to systems with little or no impact
• Extract the data from Teradata (or other similar sources) and transform it as per the business requirement
• Excellent analytical capabilities to break complex problem into simpler ones
• Knowledge of general Teradata architecture.
• Strong communication skills

 
Technical Skills:

• Tableau (Lavastorm, Excel, SQL server, Teradata, Visual Studio)
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a commercially driven environment to gather strategic insights driven reporting and data visualisation requirements.
• Expert in writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of SAS (preferably intermediate or advanced user of SAS)
• Experience in writing pass-through SQL queries in SAS
• Ability to write SQL queries and interrogate database systems to extract information
• Ability to make/use data tables, where non-existent or require modifications
• Both Teradata and SAS tables for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to present information in usable format
