What the role involves
As a SQL Developer, you will be supporting the Consulting team to design and build solutions that extend our customers’ existing systems. Advanced reporting and dashboard design, customisation development, SSIS integrations, data cleansing and importing, and technical advice to the consulting group will form just part of your day. Working as part of a team, you will have an eye for detail, and take pride in offering quality solutions. You will have excellent time management and organisation skills. You will be technically savvy and experience with ERP systems, Microsoft SQL and report writing tools will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Creation and on-going maintenance of customisations and reporting solutions
- Align customer business requirements with specific technical deliverables
- Providing professional support and guidance to internal and external customer queries
- Contribute to the design of, and critically evaluate business specifications
- Creation and review of technical specifications
- Software testing; peer review and unit testing
- Provide solution design documentation and estimates internally and externally
Requirements
- Experience providing support to external clients and creating and maintaining customisations
- Experience with report writers, including SSRS
- Experience creating and maintaining MS SQL scripts, triggers, views, functions and stored procedures
- Workflows, data import routines
