About the business and the role
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced network and computer administrator to join our growing team of IT Support specialists.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your day to day responsibilites will include:
- Responding to phone, email, remote and onsite client support requests
- Troubleshooting, resolving, managing, monitoring and updating support requests
- Support of servers, desktops, routers & switches
You will also be required to upgrade and install various hardware & software as required.
The role will require you to work independently. There may be times where you will need to work outside of normal business hours. There will be times where you will be required to travel both within the Melbourne Metro area as well as interstate.
Salary is flexible and based on experience.
Skills and experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSE)
- Cisco CCNA
- VMWare ESX/ESXi
- Excellent understanding of routing and switching
- VoIP
- At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Have a valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
