Do you enjoy a challenge? Are you after a role which will propel your career? Join an award winning and leading national Systems Integrator and Managed Service Provider. You will be working in a collaborative and talented Service Desk team undertaking Levels 2 & 3 Support Tasks and Systems Administration tasks on virtualised platforms for clients across Australia and in the Asia Pacific Region.
In this role you will be required to:
- Provide initial contact with clients via phone, email and remote access in a timely manner
- Calls will be logged in the Service Desk application in accordance with procedures and the you will provide assistance to the caller, resolving the incident or request on first contact where possible
- You will be responsible for monitoring of Service Desk job queue and logging incidents and requests for service into the service desk
- Ensure the Service Desk maintains a high standard of customer service
- Performing systems administration tasks on virtualised platforms including service assurance tasks
- Escalate unresolved issues to the relevant team as required
- When required, attend client sites to resolve user issues
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or qualifications:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Server technologies
- Experience with Hyper-V or VMware
- Exchange, Active directory domain and domain user account management
- Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Windows 7 & 10 operating systems
- Basic routing & switching support
- Printing in a networked environment
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Information Technology is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills is essential for this role
- Worked in an ITIL based Service Desk supporting medium to large scale organisations
Ms Lync and or Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop experience is desirable.
