I am currently recruiting for a Data Scientist for one of my clients, based in Sydney. This is a really exciting position giving you an opportunity to work with one of Australia's leading Analytics & BI consultancies and progress your career further whilst working with some of the most talented technologists in the industry and helping to solve some of the most interesting problems.
As a Data Scientist you will be working closely with customers and drive value through data-driven methodologies and strategies. My client is completely technology agnostic so you'll be encouraged to try different methodologies and technology.
You'll get the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across multiple different industries, utilising different types of data-sets. My client works across finance, telco, retail, fashion and many more.
What's required:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Versatility and adaptable, eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Advanced SQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present insights to senior stakeholders as well as the ability to converse technical to non-technical people
- Experience with Machine learning techniques as well as technologies such as; Python, R, SAS
- A strong understanding of the impact that data science has on the business and why
