About the Company

Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is the national peak body for the early childhood sector with the largest membership amongst both organisations and individuals working with young children in Australia. beyondblue has been selected as the provider of the new Mental Health in Education program which will be launched in August 2018 to support mentally healthy educational environments across Australia. This framework will be developed in collaboration with beyondblue National Education Initiaitve (bbNEI) implementation partners (Early Childhood Australia and headspace).

We are seeking to appoint a Digital Systems Adviser, reporting to the Program Development Executive. This position offers the opportunity to work in a newly created role that supports Early Childhood Australia's contribution to the development and implementation of the integrated mental health framework for early learning services and schools, bbNEI. The role will encompass activities related to online platforms and systems development and planning, as well as informing and implementing strategies for enhancing internal and external user experiences.

This position is based in Preston, VIC 3072.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of systems and digital solutions, strategies and practices that enhances user experience
  • Data entry, collection, analysis, quality assurance and reporting
  • Stakeholder relationships for developing systems and digital solutions

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role you will require tertiary qualifications in a computing or digital design related field, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and business experience in both using and supporting others to use a variety of digital platforms and programs, effective communication skills both written and verbal, coupled with excellent time management skills, and ability to work with and support the technical needs of a national team located across Australia.
