Senior DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), global eCommerce Travel leader, relocate to Bangkok

The Role:

Our client is looking for a unique kind of software engineers to solve their unique problems, those:

• that have zero tolerance for inefficiencies in software development
• who can see beyond the norm and assist the business in releasing the best software exceedingly fast, while exceedingly safe.

The team is directly responsible for creating tools & designing process to make sure that the whole service is running properly. This also requires the ability to find the root cause of system faults in the event of an incident.

Your work includes:

• dealing with service owners to help enhance monitoring and alert systems
• perform root cause analysis
• understand changes in the system
• designing of action plans for emergency responses

Requirements

- Proficiency in any one programming language (e.g. C#, Java/Scala, Python, JavaScript)

- Site Reliability Engineer experience

- Working knolwedge of fault tolerant, highly available, high traffic/throughput, distributed, scalable systems

- Understanding of Network Monitoring, SNMP, REST API, AKKA cluster, data processing and analytics

- Experience with OS / Service monitoring

- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

- Troubleshooting skill both of services and OS

- Outstanding Problem Analytics/Debuging skills
