The role of the Cyber Security function is to keep Caltex safe in the digital environment. We require an experienced Cyber Security Governance and Risk professional to own the enterprise cyber security governance and risk framework to support both the current and future business needs of Caltex. This role will manage and develop policy, standards, guidelines and process that enables the business to make sound decisions in relation to IT Cyber Security.
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, in this role you will:

  • Communicate the Enterprise cyber security governance and risk management framework that enables the successful implementation of IT Solutions, yet ensures governance and risk standards and guidelines are met.
  • Partner with divisional business units to identify, influence and advise on Cyber security and Risk policy and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to Project teams, business cases or business requests on cyber security risk assessments, risk management and policy compliance aspects of infrastructure, system development and integration.
  • Manage a security assurance program involving ethical hacking, penetration testing, red teaming, bug bounty programs, and dark web monitoring.
  • Monitor the cybersecurity market to identify new and emerging suppliers, technologies, services and external influences and assess the relevance and potential value to Caltex.
  • Maintain and review the Cybersecurity and Risk process with a view to continuous improvement that supports changing operating models.

To be successful in this role, you are Tertiary Qualified including Certification in ITIL v3 Foundation, matched with an operational understanding of good governance principles. You demonstrate excellent commercial, negotiation and analytical capability, and are able to communicate key information effectively across a broad group of stakeholders. Your proven ability to utilise process and structure to enable business to make effective decisions has been key to commercial achievement.
