Our Opportunity

We are commencing our recruitment for our 2019 graduate program and are looking for Technical Intelligence Analyst for our Canberra office. Our graduate program is a 2 year intense program accompanied by mentoring, job rotation and countless training opportunities and we offer all of our graduates permanent positions here at Thales Australia!

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all delivery requirements are met for Thales customers through supporting the developing new open source intelligence capability.
• Assisting in the development of new methods of collection and analysis to better analyse open source information in response to customer requests.
• Ensuring the availability of intelligence tools and capability during business hours and also after hours.
• Meeting with key stakeholders to ensure that all requirements for intelligence customers are met from a technical perspective.
• Developing and helping to build specialised analytic software and intelligence techniques to deliver actionable open source intelligence with short notice.
• Supporting business development activities, and advising on cutting edge strategies to deliver new technical capability to better deliver open source intelligence reporting.

About You

• Degree qualification in ICT/Computer Science or Engineering (Software focused) with a credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation end of 2018
• Leadership experience demonstrated through pervious employment or extra-curricular activities whilst at university
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work within a team environment, results focused and a thirst for solving problems
• Initiative and a desire to challenge yourself and continuously keep learning

Special Requirements

An defence security clearance is required for this role and as such only Australian citizens are eligible to apply
