An excellent opportunity exists for an energetic Systems and Network Administrator to join our team in a full-time position based in Welshpool, Western Australia.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Ensure the effective operation and administration of companywide IT infrastructure
•Install, configure, maintain and monitor services including but not limited to Checkpoint Firewall, Cisco networking, WAN links, Windows Servers, Exchange Server, SQL Servers, Backups and VMware
•Support and maintain the Standard Operating Environment for users by utilizing software packaging, image management and deployment technologies, and configuration and maintenance of logon scripts and default printers
•Physical management of IT equipment and infrastructure including cabling, data centres, racks, disk arrays, servers and power supplies
• Commission and decommission IT infrastructure for new and existing sites and head office locations
•Other duties as directed by your Direct Manager/Supervisor
Selection Criteria.
Essential:
•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a senior Systems/Networks Administrator role
•Microsoft (MCSE) certification (or working towards)
•Experience managing enterprise firewalls (Checkpoint preferred)
•Experience deploying and maintaining enterprise wireless across multiple sites (HP Aruba preferred)
•Experience deploying and managing Cisco networking across multiple sites
•Experience deploying and managing VoIP phones across multiple sites (Cisco preferred)
•Experience managing & provisioning both LANs & Telstra MPLS WANs across multiple remote sites
•Experience managing hybrid Microsoft Exchange & Office 365
•Experience managing Active Directory, Azure Active Directory & Windows Server across multiple sites
•Experience creating SOE Windows 10 builds & software remote deployment using Microsoft SCCM
•Experience supporting VMWare vSphere in an Enterprise environment
•Experience backing up virtual machines using Veeam or similar
•Experience maintaining and supporting SAN infrastructure
•Ability to manage own workload effectively
•Strong background in a customer service environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Awareness of safety, environmental and quality issues relating to IT
•Current motor vehicle drivers licence
Desirable:
•Cisco (CCNA) certifications
•Exposure or knowledge of ITIL fundamentals
•Experience supporting SAP
•Experience supporting SharePoint/SQL
•Extensive experience in compliance issues of IT Systems for business.
•Experience in systems requirements of engineering projects.
•Experience with cyber security best practices
