AngloGold Ashanti Australia are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Junior IT Business Analyst to join our Information Management team in Perth. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the Junior IT Business Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements and scoping IT/OT solutions to support business process and operations. This exciting role will provide exposure to a number of traditional IT related projects as well as critical operational technology projects.
The role will initially be a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Perth, with potential for a further 6 month extension. The role will provide exposure to traditional IT lifecycle projects as well as mining operational technology systems that are key to growth and continuous improvement. Whilst this role will be Perth based regular site visits will be expected.
To be successful in this role you must have the following key skills and experience;
- Prior experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Demonstrated experience capturing and managing IT business requirements
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and processes
- Knowledge of IT service management tools and processes
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline
Desirable:
- Previous experience in solution architecture and design
- Project Management knowledge or experience (e.g. PMBOK)
- Exposure to Business Analysis methods (e.g. BABOK)
- Familiarity with current ICT trends and technology
- Ability to create a structure from undefined information
- Previous experience working on a mine site
- Familiarity with mining applications and technologies
