My client a leader in the online space based in Sydney's CBD, is currently seeking a Head of Insights. The role has been brought about by a restructure in the wider team that reflects their desire for a stronger global centralisation.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for understanding and helping to shape mid to long term strategy across marketing, analytics and finance using insights. To succeed in this role you will need to produce insights to drive strategic change, understanding the true value of the organisations data assets and how to leverage them.
Your ideal background
- You will have worked very closely with BI and Analytics tools and techniques (SQL / Tableau)
- Have solid experience managing small to medium sized teams (2-3)
- Be very commercially minded and have extensive experience business partnering with a variety stakeholders
- You will be able to utilise analytics to link together pieces of a complex puzzle
Qualifications
- Tertiary level qualification in mathematical or computational science related field
- Great understanding of SQL and Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of Advanced Analytics, R or Python and Data Science techniques
