Working alongside our Group Risk Manager the successful candidate will co-ordinate, monitor and promote Risk Management Process across the business.
  
Components of the role include :
  
Risk Management

• Work as a true partner to the business, performing risk assessments, agreeing mitigation plans and monitoring progress
• Educate and empower the business on risk issues and build confidence in making risk-smart decisions
• Proactively develop relationships with risk owners to continue to embed and promote the consideration of risk issues across the entire Vocus business
• Assist in the planning and roll out of training on risk approach and topical risk issues
• Contribute ideas on how technology and tools can be used to enhance the effectiveness of risk management across the business

Insurance

• Assist in collating various renewal information and completion of proposal forms
• Manage minor claims such as travel, motor vehicle
• Respond to enquiries and distribute insurance certificates of currency post renewal and update on insurance Wiki

  
Delegated Authorities

• Communicate changes in Delegated Authorities (DoA) to finance and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate periodic reviews with finance system owners
• Respond to queries and maintain DoA intranet page with current information

  
Compliance

• Assist with the development and maintenance of regulatory policies, procedures and compliance programmes
• Review risk assessments provided by suppliers and track required Vocus responses

  
Skills & Experience required:

• 3-4 years experience within risk, preferably in a Big 4 Professional Services firm where you have worked with clients to advise and implement solutions to business risks
• Tertiary qualifications – in one or more of the following disciplines - Business, Accounting or Law
• Ability to communicate effectively and “sell” the benefits of risk management across all levels of the business
• Experience working autonomously and within a larger team
• Exude the confidence to have difficult conversations and push back where appropriate
• Knowledge of telecommunications risk issues such as privacy is desirable but not essential
