A new opportunity to join DWS as a Business Intelligence Lead Delivery Engineer with a strong pedigree working in BI Leadership across multiple BI projects.

You must have demonstrable skills designing and delivering end-to-end ETL and BI solutions in an Enterprise Data Warehouse, all the way from Solution Architecture, through High Level Design, Data Modelling, and Detailed Design. You will also be getting their hands dirty, assuring the quality of your teams delivery and perhaps even coding—we are not looking for someone to sit above the fray.

To be successful you will have demonstrated:

• You must have experience in a lead (delivery) role on a Data Warehouse / Data Mart, designing and delivering an end-to-end ETL and BI solution
• Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics best practices
• Able to build strong relationships with decision makers from senior executives down and to be appreciated as a trusted advisor
• Deep experience designing and building ETL solutions or a comparable ETL platform
• Able to develop business analytics strategies and roadmaps and architect solutions
• Team leadership
• Critical thinking
• Experience in complex environments
• Strong dimensional modelling skills
• Strong relational modelling skills
• Strong understanding of design principles and Data Warehouse best practice
• Advanced skills in communicating design through diagrams and models
• Experience designing data models(not Visio)
