The Client:

My client is a nationally recognised company who are based in the heart of the Sydney CBD. They are currently in the process of developing and maintaining SQL databases.

The Role:

This role will report directly into an accomplished Project Manager on an initial 11 month contract.

  • Optimisation and tuning of SQL code to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and maintain a documentation system
  • Work within a state of the art, greenfield dev ops environment
  • Collaborate with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams
  • Understand, analyse and size user requirements
  • Development and maintenance of SQL analytical and ETL code
  • Adherence to agreed standards and good practices

The Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience with SQL Server technologies on various server platforms
  • Hands on experience in developing databases
  • Technical knowledge of various versions of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of metadata/model driven frameworks
  • Knowledge of Teradata’s UDI and GCFR
