This rapidly growing organisation has offices in UK, Australia and USA, providing life saving systems to the medical sector they are seeking an experienced systems consultant to join the team.

Based in the Eastern suburbs and close to public transport, the role of the Systems Consultant is to apply their superior technical expertise and problem-solving skills to analyse, implement and support both customer systems and corporate infrastructure.

This includes:

• Consulting with new customers to determine system hardware, application, interfacing and infrastructure requirements.
• Collaborating with internal and external project team members to test, install and troubleshoot system hardware, applications, interfaces and infrastructure.
• Working with both internal and external support teams to maintain and support customer systems.
• Building, maintaining and improving internal corporate IT infrastructure.
• Establishing effective relationships with a wide range of people including their own team, external IT teams, stakeholders, customers, and overseas support teams.

Selection criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a technical IT role
• Experience in a medical/health related sectors (mandatory)
• Degree in information technology, computer science, or other relevant fields
• Demonstrated experience in network troubleshooting and security
• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure troubleshooting
• Experience with SQL (desirable)
• Familiar with support ticketing systems
• Current driver's licence and motor vehicle for regional client site visits
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and be able to work well under pressure
