Field Engineers are the interface between our client and their own client base. Working across the Adelaide Metropolitan area, and occasionally in country regions, the team of Field Engineers repairs and maintains servers, desktops, laptops, printers and associated equipment under Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Field Engineers have to be ‘people persons’ as well as highly skilled technicians, as they often enter a stressed and confusing time for clients when the technology they rely on is not delivering the goods. A calm and methodical approach is called for at all times.
It’s expected that a good candidate for this role would have a hardware qualification, such as TAFE, and would have some real-world experience. As new installations form a significant part of the role, experience is Standard Operating Environments (SOEs), rollouts and data migration would also be a positive.

As well as being both technically competent and good at communications, this role required above-average attention to detail when it comes to recording call-outs and outcomes, following up/escalating and adherence to highly developed policies and procedures.
