The role:
Our client are seeking a SAP Basis Administrator to join their SAP Basis team to undertake BAU activities. This is a contract role through until the end of December 2018 with possible extensions and will be based in Brisbane CBD.
The SAP Basis Team (SBT) provides second and third level expert support and management to over 200 Queensland Government’s SAP instances. The 200+ SAP instances encompass a combination of SAP R3, ECC5 and ECC6 instances running on a variety of databases, Unix and Windows operating systems.
The systems supported include mission-critical, high profile and priority systems. SBT provides rostered 24/7/365 on-call support assisted by automated monitoring and alerting tools for both after-hours and business hours support. As a member of the SBT team you may be required to undertake various of SAP certifications to maintain and support the environments.
The skills:
The ideal candidates will have: Senior Level SAP Basis ECC6 skills (BW,ECC. Netweaver Gateway, ADS, Enterprise Portal, PI, Solution Manager) with prior experience with UNIX and Microsoft Azure Platform.
