The international F-35 Joint Program Office has awarded Lockheed Martin a contract to establish F-35 fleet sustainment services at RAAF Base Williamtown. Lockheed Martin contract staff will work in partnership with the Australian Department of Defence and industry to establish the maintenance, logistics, training and engineering services needed in readiness for the arrival of the first RAAF  F-35 aircraft in late 2018.
 

 
Responsibilities
 

• Operate and execute a range of ITSM processes interacting with other technical streams, customers and stakeholders
• Produce and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures and work instructions as required
• Provide subject matter expert (SME) advice and leadership in ITIL and other relevant methodologies, perform analysis and establish frameworks, workflows, charts and diagrams defining systems capabilities and processes
• Collaborate with system administrators, system engineers, developers, end users and organisations to ensure process compliance and utility
• Provide a high level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company and the F35 and Defence organisation
• Actively contribute to project work stream deliverables including quality control / sign off for area of accountability
• Apply advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts
• Ensure the systems provided to Programs are of the highest quality and satisfy all regulatory and technical requirements
• Display behaviours that reflect the company's values

 
Qualifications and Training

• Tertiary qualifications (degree) in a related discipline (IT, Computer Science, ITIL qualification, Systems Engineering, etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience / combined education
• ITIL V3 Foundations/Practitioner qualification
• Significant experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in the Defence Industry)
• Significant experience developing and communicating technical strategies and plan
• Experience in the development and implementation of enterprise strategies, and programs for managing information and technology risks

Please note that a security clearance is required for this role, candidates should either hold a NV1 or NV2 security clearance and must be eligible for PV clearance. Australian citizenship is a condition of eligibility for security clearances.Interstate and international travel required.
