Our client is a large organisation with their Head Office in the Parramatta CBD, close to a train station, so easy to get to.

The current contract role is focussed on a large infrastructure refresh project which is expected to go for over a year.

The project is quite extensive, and will involve (inter alia) enterprise storage for unstructured data, secure cloud integration services (hybrid cloud), consolidating structured data services, refresh of security infrastructure, refreshed software platforms, etc.

You should have extensive experience with all the "normal" BA tasks, but as you can see from the above, this role is definitely for a senior "technically oriented" business analyst!

The usual tasks of a BA will be involved (including workshopping, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis), as well as being involved with test and system test plans and liaising with the test manager.

In addition, you will be involved with developing business cases, and evaluating system solutions.

We would expect you to be versatile with the development of business process models, standard operating procedures, and related tools such as Visio, System Architect and/or BPMN.

On the testing side, your involvement would mean some experience with tools such as MQC, Quick Test Professional, etc, as well as established methodologies.

We would also expect you to be experienced with (and preferably certified in) ITIL, Prince2, and Agile.

Also, you should have solid working experience with large organisations and in both the corporate and the public sectors.

We are expecting the role to start late September, and this contract is for an initial period to June 2019, but is expected to extend.
