About the role

BCE provides a high level of leadership and expertise to the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems to serve the current and projected needs of the Brisbane Catholic Education community. The purpose of the Senior Business Analyst position is to functionally analyse, develop where required, document and test business processes to inform configuration, development and operations of information systems. This includes the entire lifecycle of business processes and test coordination.


 

Duties

• Coordinate the activities required for the successful delivery of the school information services projects from a time, budget and resourcing perspective
• Document standards-based processes for business analysis and testing strategies
• Design, document and map requirements from existing systems to future systems in conjunction with functional experts and subject matter experts
• Functionally analyse, develop, document and test business processes
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear and the solution is meeting user needs
• Develop implementation and change management plans

 

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis or ICT

 

Skills & Experience

• Problem analysis and resolution skills
• Experience in coordinating projects and operational activities
• Ability to work with and engage stakeholders through projects and manage their expectations
• High level communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability self-manage workload
