The Organisation:

Our client is a Government Agency supporting the regulation and safety across industry, commercial and individuals across Australia.

The Opportunity:

Due to the implementation of a new national database and register our client is seeking to engage someone to support the project team with the roll out. This project is a key strategic initiative for the Department’s long term operational objectives.

The project has gone live and they are looking for someone to ensure the project is delivered as per expectations before it is adopted as Business As Usual.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:

• Engage with business areas to understand the how the business systems work.
• Working with the SMEs to develop business processes, supporting documentation and training materials.
• Assist the Project team to prepare and update the project plan, project logbook, stage plans and work packages.
• Review data migration and make sure the correct data is in place.
• Track the project’s progress against the project schedule and facilitate quality product quality reviews.
• Communicate with project contributors to ensure to milestones, policy and governance requirements are met.

The Person:

You are someone who prides themselves on ensuring that the final product delivers on its expectations and is accepted by business areas into BAU. You have the ability to engage with different stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation and adoption. Your high attention to detail will be used to ensure that data migration is accurate.

The Salary/Rate:

$60 - $75/hr + GST

*Initial 6 month contract with potential 6 month extension
