A leading global interior design studio that specialises in workplace are currently seeking an interior designer to join their Melbourne studio.
This position is a 2IC role, reporting to the lead interior designer. The successful candidate will be relied upon to run small & mid-scale projects and be a great support to the senior team on larger projects and in the studio.
This is an incredible opportunity to join their stellar team and work on significant projects whilst sharing your knowledge with more junior team members in a mentoring and support capacity - share, excite and creatively inspire the team!
Key responsibilities
- Run small & mid-scale projects from concept through to delivery
- Support the team on larger projects and in the studio as a 2IC to the lead designer
- Support and mentor junior team members
Skills & experience
- Confidence and initiative are sought as you take projects from concept to delivery
- Commercial project experience across small and medium sized projects is a must
- Strong communication skills and a desire to contribute your passion and energy is ideally sought
- Demonstrate your creativity and design expertise through your beautiful portfolio of commercial projects
- Revit is an absolute must as well as AutoCAD - a good level of technical skill is sought.
- Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) and SketchUp proficiency will be looked upon favorably.
- Demonstrated leadership skills are sought - share, excite and creatively inspire the team
- Qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture are sought
