DESIGNER - WOMENSWEAR

Our client are an international brand with a great following in trend led fast fashion. Working as part of the Design team for this fashion brand, focusing on trend led product you will be provided with the opportunity to utilize your highly developed, design skills across multiple categories to create fashion favourites.

Creating bold, expressive designs to reflect the essence of their core customers, your proven ability to identify and interpret market trends will ensure the brand’s design signature is maintained and developed. As Designer your aim will be to maintain the fast pace and fashion focus that the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities include:
:: Create/design the trans seasonal collection in-line with range brief and plan
:: Prepare technical sketches and design spec sheets and ensure they are in accordance with pattern room and production requirements
:: Perform market and trend research
:: Identify current local/international fashion trends
:: Effective plan of ranges to accommodate resources and timelines
:: Select fabrics in order to achieve the product objective and budgetary requirements
:: Styling and storyboard presentations
:: Attend product and fit meetings
:: Sampling
:: Research trips overseas
:: Liaise with offshore & local factories

The successful candidate will possess a degree in fashion design, advanced Photoshop/Illustrator skills and relevant experience (at least 3 years) ideally gained international trend led womenswear brand.
