We are seeking a Standout Designer who is passionate about creating unique products to debut on the world stage of e-commerce.

In the role you will work with a passionate team to create ranges that captivate and inspire women to express themselves through their fashion lifestyle. Its a hands on position where you will lead the design process for the ranges to come to life and work in collaboration with others from an artwork, technical design and production perspective.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with the Graphics and Product Development teams to drive the product from concept to sale.
• Be able to work alone and push personal boundaries as well as accept direction when offered working with the Creative Director.
• Design on-brand swimwear and dance wear ranges and collections.
• Ensure products are developed to meet design, technical and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate development records.
• Work with product samples to coordinate and prioritise sample production in line with critical path deadlines and maintain sample library.
• Produce Technical CAD drawings of new designs and concepts.
• Ability to pattern make manually when required.
• Ensure design process is completed within the critical path deadlines.
• Present Collections/ranges and Merchandise for range review, and sign off key dates.
• Work with the Creative Director to present for handover the Collection/Range to Marketing.
• Work on product development and update tech-packs from initial design stages to completion ensuring that the pattern, construction and costings of materials are true of the original design.
• Work with the Graphics team on artwork requirements.
• Conduct Analysis reporting and Review Performance of styles and ranges with support/collaboration from marketing. Adapt key learnings and opportunities into upcoming ranges.
• Attend to fitting and photo shoots to assist in bringing the range to life.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree qualifications, minimum 2 years hands on post grad experience in fashion.
• Solid experience using Adobe Creative suite with strong illustrator skills.
• Strong understanding of category fabrics and construction methods.
• Strong local and international swim wear/dance wear market understanding.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Organised and strategic range building approach.
• Demonstrated skills in identifying key category trends.
• Strong attention to detail.
