We are looking for a Junior Urban Designer to join a notable firm on Melbournes’ city fringe. Working within a team that is passionate about creating places, this firm delicately and synergistically combines planning and design.
Needing a Junior Urban Designer to step in and work on a range of projects including brownfield and high density areas, this practice gravitates towards the individual who has an understanding of planning processes as well as a passion for urban design.
Qualities and Skills:
- Relevant tertiary degree
- At least 12 months’ experience working as an Urban Design graduate
- Ability to document masterplans
- Experience working on PSPs and working on site specific neighbourhood character plans
This role is open to candidates who have experience working as a documenter in a landscape capacity that have completed a Masters in Urban Design or candidates who have worked in a planning capacity whose experience will lead them into an Urban Design role.
It is vital that you are proficient in AutoCAD and Abode Suite (InDesign & Photoshop). Experience in SketchUp will be highly regarded.
