Your new role
This all-encompassing role will see you oversee a team of Civil Draftspersons with responsibility for mentoring and working hands on when required. This is a key role for the business ensuring your team are achieving their deadlines; providing designs for Civil D&C projects and design alterations for variations. With a team of 5 to 10 drafters across SE QLD you will have the opportunity to draft yourself, to complete survey calculations and update ADAC files and drawings for As-Con submission.
What you'll need to succeed
We require a Senior Civil Drafter / Designer with a pleasant, calm nature and ability to participate in senior level business discussions. Strong communication skills are essential as you will liaise with upper management for the delivery, survey and estimating teams along with regular client contact. Experience with 12D and ADAC are also required, while a proven ability to manage staff is paramount. A background in Subdivisions and Urban Development projects will be highly regarded.

Salary will be commensurate with experience while a salary base of $70k to $90k is a good indicator, possibly more for the right person.
