Anatomics is a St Kilda based and Australian owned medical device company that has been manufacturing and marketing innovative surgical products to surgeons locally and internationally since 1996.
An excellent full-time opportunity has arisen in the Production Team for a highly motivated and skilled CAD expert with good communication skills, who can work autonomously or in a team environment, and receives instructions well, with good problem solving skills and an excellent eye for detail (including shape and form). The role reports to the Lead BioModelling Engineer under the VP Production.
Key responsibilities:
- CAD of a full suite of facial implants from 2D drawings and user inputs
- CAD of implant accessories and packaging for these implants
- CAD of production tools required for product realisation
- 3D printing of product prototypes
- Post-processing of 3D printed parts
- Documentation of design history, systems and processes for inclusion in the company ISO 13485 quality management system
Essential
- Minimum 2 years commercial CAD experience in product development
Desirable
- Tertiary qualification in CAD, engineering or industrial design
- AutoDesk Inventor experience
- 3D printing experience
- Medical device design experience
- Mould design and manufacture experience
