About the role:
Based in Port Melbourne, you will be responsible for the creation of corporate communications, subsequent amendments and preparation for various communication methods.
 
Casual assignments will depend on Creative’s peak work times and client needs.  Initially you will be required full-time between August and November to assist with peak workload.  Thereafter, it will be on an ad-hoc basis.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing designs for corporate communications in both print and digital mediums
  • Delivering aesthetically pleasing, yet functional, design solutions
  • Delivering a high degree of accuracy in a high volume and fast turnaround environment
 To be successful, you will need:
  • An Australian Government recognised qualification in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts
  • Proven experience working in Graphic Design or Visual Communications
  • Sound knowledge of design, typography, pre-press, offset, printing processes and techniques
  • Mandatory software skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a PC only environment
  • Demonstrated ability to follow style guides, instructions and procedures
  • Flexibility with proven ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technology

An understanding of HTML will be highly advantageous.
