Design Architect with 6 years + experience to design and deliver a diverse range of projects.
Our client is looking for a Project Architect or Design Architect with 6 years + experience to design and deliver a diverse range of projects, with a strong emphasis on keeping design intent.
Your new company
Our award winning client has been at the forefront of designing innovative Architecture in Australia, Asia and the UK for over 40 years. With 80 employees in Melbourne, our client has an outstanding reputation across all project typologies from mutli-res, schools and institutional buildings, to museums, hotels and vineyards. This role has become available due to some huge project wins and they are looking to bring in some of Melbourne’s most talented Architects to their studio.
Your new role
Your new role as a Project Architect will see you juggling multiple projects of various scale, both here in Melbourne and Internationally. Design autonomy will be encouraged and you will have the opportunity to make your mark when designing and delivering some of the most sought after projects in town. Managing and mentoring junior staff is an important part of the role, you will be supported by various Architects and Graduates therefore leadership qualities would be preferred.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked for a renowned Melbourne Design Studio and have a minimum of 6 year’s + Australian industry experience. Whether you have been a 2IC on some very large projects or leading smaller projects, this client is looking for a confident and ambitious Architect ready to take their next step. You will have a strong skill in design and a proven portfolio of work across a variety of project typologies. Revit and Rhino/Grasshopper skills are desirable.
