Based in Parramatta you will provide a range of administrative and project support services to facilitate the operation of the NSW Government Branch. Immediate start for 2 months with a view to extend.

You will perform a variety of administrative functions. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Plus, you will schedule appointments, composes memos, transcribes notes, and research and create presentations. You will also generate reports, handles multiple projects.


Key responsibilities:


• Undertakes a range of administrative and project support services, including records management,
meeting and project support, procuring goods and services and making travel arrangements for staff.
• Collect and compile information in line with quality and departmental requirements, to support
information flow and inform decision making.
• Assist in the preparation and collation of documents including briefs, letters, minutes and reports within required timeframes.
• Implement administrative practices, systems and procedures and proactively contribute to the
development of improvements to branch administrative systems and procedures.
• Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate
information.
• Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes
Your skills will show:
• Demonstrated ability with extensive contribution to problem solving and complex issues or difficult tasks. (Must be able to articulate this in interview and provide details of examples)
• Experience with dealing with correspondence
• Experience with Projects - must have experience refining briefs and correspondence, QA checking, proofing, assessing and contributing to content of documents
• Must have experience in Microsoft office and records management system (s)
Government experience is not mandatory however highly desirable
